Amazon Expands Payment Options, Adds UPI and No-Cost EMI on Debit Cards

UPI and Debit Card EMI Now Available

Amazon has announced the expansion of its payment options, making Unified Payment Interface (UPI) and No-Cost EMI on Debit Cards available to customers. This move aims to provide greater convenience and flexibility to shoppers on the platform.

UPI Integration

UPI, a popular payment method in India, allows users to make secure and instant payments directly from their bank accounts using their mobile phones. The integration of UPI on Amazon will enable customers to pay for their purchases seamlessly and securely without the need for credit or debit cards.

No-Cost EMI on Debit Cards

Amazon has also introduced No-Cost EMI on Debit Cards, offering customers the option to spread the cost of their purchases over multiple installments without incurring any additional interest charges. This feature is available on select products with a minimum order value of ₹3,000.

Additional Payment Methods

In addition to the new options, Amazon already accepts a wide range of payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, and JCB credit and debit cards. Amazon Pay, the company's digital payment service, also supports a variety of payment options including UPI, net banking, and prepaid wallets.
