Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg Accused of Maltreatment by Victims Rights Advocate at Republican National Convention

Mother of Murdered Sergeant Blasts Prosecutor's Policies

WEB Madeline Brame, a victims' rights advocate and mother of a slain soldier, has vehemently criticized Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg at the Republican National Convention. Six years after the tragic death of her son, Sgt. Hason Correa, in Harlem, Brame has become a vocal opponent of Bragg's prosecutorial approach.

Justice Denied for Victims

Brame alleges that Bragg has failed to adequately pursue justice for victims of violent crimes. She claims that his policies have led to a disproportionate reduction in criminal charges, leaving victims feeling betrayed and ignored.

"Alvin Bragg has turned his back on victims like my son," said Brame. "He has made it easier for violent offenders to escape accountability, putting our communities at risk."

Political Exploitation of Tragedy

Brame's criticism has sparked controversy, with some accusing her of politicizing her son's death. However, she maintains that her activism is driven by a desire to protect others from similar suffering.

"I don't care what party you belong to. If you want to see justice for victims, then you need to stand up and speak out against Bragg's dangerous policies," Brame concluded.
