Telugu actor Nani has joined the chorus of actors slamming Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi for his recent comments about the film 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
In an interview, Warsi had said that Amitabh Bachchan was "unbelievable" in the film, but added that the film's lead actor, Prabhas, was "wooden".
Prabhas's fans have since taken to Warsi's Instagram page to call him out, using slurs and abuses.
Nani's Response
Nani, in a tweet, said that he was "disappointed" by Warsi's comments.
"I thought Arshad Warsi was a better actor than that," he said.
"Prabhas is a great actor, and he did a great job in 'Kalki 2898 AD'. I'm disappointed that Arshad Warsi would make such a comment."
Warsi's Apology
Warsi has since apologized for his comments, saying that he "didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings".
"I'm a big fan of Prabhas, and I think he's a great actor," he said.
"I apologize for my comments. I didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings."
Other Reactions
Warsi's comments have also been criticized by other actors, including Mahesh Babu and Vijay Deverakonda.
Mahesh Babu said that Warsi's comments were "uncalled for" and "unfair".
Vijay Deverakonda said that Warsi's comments were "disrespectful" and "unprofessional".
