Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short Discuss Their New Hulu Show, 'Only Murders In The Building'

Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short are teaming up for a new Hulu comedy series called 'Only Murders In The Building.' The show follows three true crime enthusiasts who investigate a murder in their Upper West Side apartment building.
In a recent interview, the trio of actors sat down to discuss their new show. Gomez, who plays Mabel Mora, a young woman who lives in the apartment building where the murder takes place, said she was drawn to the show's unique blend of comedy and mystery.
"I love that the show is funny and dark at the same time," Gomez said. "It's a really interesting mix of genres, and I think it's going to be a lot of fun for people to watch."
Martin, who plays Charles-Haden Savage, a retired actor who lives in the apartment building, said he was also drawn to the show's unique premise.
"I've never done a show like this before," Martin said. "It's a really interesting and unique concept, and I think it's going to be a lot of fun to work on."
Short, who plays Oliver Putnam, a Broadway director who lives in the apartment building, said he was excited to work with Gomez and Martin.
"I've been a fan of Selena and Steve for years," Short said. "They're both such talented actors, and I'm really excited to work with them on this show."
'Only Murders In The Building' is set to premiere on Hulu on August 31st.
